Celebrating Mike Lamping, Columbus Market President and 2021 Volunteer of the Year

There are many kind words used to describe Mike Lamping, our Columbus market president and Dublin Chamber of Commerce(external) Volunteer of the Year Award recipient.

Engaging, genuine, energizing and caring are just a few of them.

He always brings a smile and a boost of energy to the Chamber’s events and activities and we’re proud to have such a community-focused individual on our team.

“Mike genuinely cares about the people around him and the people he’s doing business with as well as his employees,” said Jeff Kopco, commercial loan officer.

Dublin’s Chamber of Commerce mission is to work together with businesses and community leaders to strengthen the local economy. Mike has been involved with the chamber since the 90s and has continuously worked hard to help everyone around him, including member businesses.

From stepping up to help new chamber members to planning a variety of different chamber events, Mike has made an imprint on everyone’s lives in the best way possible.

“The most important thing for any community is to be receptive to new businesses and to promote them to make the community an easy place to do business,” he said. “Everyone benefits when they get involved.”

Mike’s story is one of the countless reasons that defines our commitment to our local communities. By putting our customers and communities first, our employees help make First Federal Lakewood a positive environment to work and do business with.
