We stayed busy this past quarter! Keep reading to see all we’ve been up to from April to June. When you bank with us, your deposits stay local, fueling growth right in our own neighborhoods. Every transaction helps strengthen the communities we live and work in. Our team actively supports local events, organizations, and volunteer efforts. We make decisions that prioritize you, our employees, and our community, not outside shareholders.
Emphasis on Community Education
A pillar of strength in any community lies in its commitment to future generations. We make sure to emphasize the importance of youth education and financial literacy with community outreach like free Financial Wellness Seminars, Home Buyer Workshops, preparing over 400 books for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and supporting young artists through the Riverside Art Show. We can’t wait to continue to support our local schools, students, and communities.
Importance of Local Businesses
Another community pillar is local business support. Small, local businesses are the backbone to a strong community, and we want to support all of them to the best ability we can! With sponsorships like the 2024 Smart Business Dealmakers Conference and smaller events like our Coffee & Connection networking events, we do everything we can to give back to the local businesses that support our communities. This quarter we received Growth Capital Corp’s 2024 Community Bank of the Year award, and we are very excited to continue being the local mutual bank that our customers rely on and serving our communities for generations to come.
Community Engagement
Investments in our communities include both investments in local education and businesses, but we also like to bring our communities together through sponsoring events like the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance Golf Outing and the Community Resource Services Ball, or participating in the Cleveland Pride Parade, and volunteering with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Youth Challenge, Lakewood Alive, Second Harvest Food Bank and Dress for Success Cleveland.
These past few months have been so much fun for our team, and we can’t wait to show you what we have planned for the rest of the year! Make sure you follow us on social media to stay up to date with where we’ve been and where we’re going.
